[WHAT’S ON MY DESK?] Students find study spaces amid pandemic
With distance learning full swing, students have looked around the house for a study area where they can attend online classes and complete work without interruption. Over the last month, these spaces have become very familiar with students as they spend a lot of time there.
Junior Isle Graupman said, “I really like my desk. It’s been very useful lately.”
Students can expect to get even more comfortable with these spaces as the recent schedule changes will be adding synchronized class time onto the workload.
Junior Isaac Carlson was happy about the change as he believes it will lead to more communication with teachers and peers while limiting the amount of work outside class. He said, “If I am to spend my day at my desk, surely it is better spent talking to my teachers and classmates than doing an unreasonable amount of homework.”
