United beats a challenging Chisago Lakes team
St. Paul United won one of its more challenging games this past Friday. They took on Chisago Lakes at Drake Arena for their Lace up for Leukemia Night, and while the festivities were fun and engaging the game was truly the main attraction. Both teams started out with superb defense, limiting both opposing offenses to five shots on goal in the first period. Throughout the game neither team could do much against each other 5-5. The difference came in power plays. Where Chisago Lakes could not capitalize on any chances, United took advantage of their power plays to push them to victory.
