Reports of unethical practices have surfaced about Mayor Reinert’s girlfriend and Campaign manager in conducting Duluth’s city business. In response to accusations, Mayor Reinert of Duluth announced that the City’s Attorney Office will be launching an internal investigation into the matter. However, Duluth’s city administration has advocated for an external investigation to avoid lack of transparency in the case.

On Tuesday a navy fighter jet crashed when conducting a training flight, after the crash two members on board were not found. The flight crashed in Washington around Mount Rainier, the two missing have not been identified.
