Invasive earthworms, which normally would have taken 10000 years to get to the boundary waters, have reached this destination in less than 15 years. They are breaking up the forest flower and ruining native fern growth. Most were brought up as bait, and fishermen don’t actually know that the earthworms are bad for the environment

Concordia University has become the second-largest private college in Minnesota while continuing to be affordable. Concordia’s massive growth started back in 2013 when they took off $10,000 of the initial tuition.

Smoke caused by many fires in New Jersey has covered parts of New York City. With over 2500 acres of dry vegetation being burnt and over 10 major landmarks threatened by the growing fires, one New York State Park employee has already lost his life fighting the fire. New York’s Department of Environmental Conservation advised people to avoid going outside until the fire has been dealt with.

The U.S. reports that Russia has assembled a group of 50,000 troops, North Korean and Russian, to advance on Ukraine. This is as president re-elect Donald Trump will enter the white house, he hasn’t said much regarding the topic, but Vice President, J.D Vance, plans on trying to end the war quickly.
