On Saturday, the Twin cities and surrounding suburbs were hit with 3 to 5 inches of snow causing snow emergencies in both St. Paul and Minneapolis. The weather caused 267 crashes across the state which ended in 21 reported injuries.

Due to an accident taking place during a Holy Family Girls hockey practice when a player fell into a coach leaving him with a head injury. The MSHSL questions whether they should require coaches to wear helmets when on the ice at practice.

After a flurry of tariffs implemented by Trump, he plans to further implement a 25% tariff on all imported steel and aluminum. He claims these tariffs will be set in stone on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week.

Eric Adams, the mayor of New York City, has avoided and told his top aides to refrain from openly criticizing president Donald Trump. Mayor Adams has been going around trying to meet with all the members of Trump’s cabinet signaling a desire to work with the new administration.
