The number of breakfasts public schools served in the 2023-2024 has been steadily increasing to 13.8 million more meals than the 2022-2023 school year. At 9:15 PM on Wednesday, a speeding and unlicensed driver suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol crashed into an SUV on I-94. The driver’s license was suspended just a month earlier, the driver caused life-threatening injuries to his passenger, and killed in the crash was one other 26-year-old SUV driver.
