Girls volleyball sweeps Hiawatha Collegiate Wolves 3-0, ending three-game losing streak

With help from key players Louise Mahoney, Nora McKoy and Olympia Wolff, the Spartans won all three sets in convincing fashion.
Volleyball was initially created as a game geared towards men due to societal attitudes about gender and athletics. It was called “mintonette” and was designed to offer a game less strenuous than basketball.
