Hop, step and jump. Join junior Julia Taylor as she takes a Go-Pro on the runway and sandpit on what it like to triple jump in track and field. Exploring various events like short distance running and jumping, Taylor has been on the team since fifth grade.
STRIDE. The track and field team practices their different stride styles. Many athletes run different distances, but starting early and practicing a diverse set of running styles sets the athletes up for success in any event. “If you start your good habits early you are less likely to be injured due to poor form,” captain Bridget Keel said.
