Softball’s new co-op with Minnehaha Redhawks brings vast improvement

The co-op has strengthened both schools, bringing more athletes, better coaches, and community.
Who’s gonna get it? Four ultimate players chase after the frisbee. Spartan Ultimate practice was moved outside to Edgcumbe Rec Center Apr. 10, which allowed more space for the team to run free. “Official practice is at the Goodrich gym, which does not fit 30 people,” Theo Bonin, pictured far right, said.

Ultimate frisbee remains an unofficial sport despite high numbers and competition success.

Team members listened intently while Kritta explained how to use the unevenness of the ground to their advantage. “We were looking for the angle of the putt,” Freshman Millie Farrington explained.
