HELPING HAND. Junior Cerena Karmaliani was assigned to Port Reitz school in Mombasa, Kenya during her service trip. The school needed the help of volunteers to make their community more inclusive for disabled students. Karmaliani said, “So my job was to work specifically in a third-grade classroom with a teacher…for a total of two weeks, approximately three hours a day… And for those two weeks, we refined the curriculum to make it more inclusive.”
