HERSPACE VOLUNTEERS. HerSpace facilitated a volunteering event with Girls on the Run Minnesota May 16. The volunteers packed bags, made team signs and more. "It was such a cool experience getting to see the headquarters and it was so fun to see everyone there," said Junior Sydney Zimmerman.

As winter formal approaches, many students feel pressured to buy new outfits for the dance. Purchases of new dresses can be costly for students and enviornmemts, so HerSpace group leaders started a dress-swap.

HYGIENE DRIVE. SPA affinity group Herspace is hosting a feminine hygiene drive with Keystone Community Services. "We found an organization that we really liked and wasn’t religiously based and helped any woman in need with resources," co-leader Audrey Leatham said.

Affinity group HerSpace hosted a shirt and pin making activity to stand up to sexual assault.
LEND A HAND.  In Minnesota, 7,000 individuals face homelessness, and over 22 million people in the United States face period poverty. HerSpace's focus on outreach made these issues the central focus of their January drive. HerSpace members got together to assemble hygiene care packages during tutorial on Friday.

The drive ran through Jan. 20 with donation boxes in Huss and Davern, and goods were packaged today.
