A new co-op rises from Phoenix ashes

A new girls' hockey co-op for SPA brings two things to the community: a buzz of excitement and a hunger for victory.
PASS THE PUCK. Captain Charlotte Goings waits for a teammate to pass to her. Goings scored 20 points this season, counting both goals and assists, and she was the only player on the Metro-South Phoenix Hockey team this year to reach 100 points.

On Feb. 10, Charlotte Goings reached the rare achievement of 100 points in her high school career.
3-2 VICTORY. The Phoenix breaks the tie by scoring one more point with 4.5 minutes remaining during over-time. Oxborough scored and helped the team took a 3:2 victory home. "Just being able to come back from that and score is really exciting. The team just felt a lot of energy after, playing a lot of music in the locker room which was super fun," Meza said.
