DONALD'S STAND ON MCDONALD'S FRIES. Freshman 
Johnny Rog shared that he would like to see a debate between Donald Trump and Mexican politician Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador  about mixed-cultural fast foods. "Can you put McDonald's french fries in a Chipotle dish?" Rog proposed.

"I was watching the final rounds of nationals, and afterwards when they gave awards, there's like two girls standing on the stage of like, 20 people and it and it's a bummer, because, for example, like we are no less capable and no less successful than boys in debate. But there are a lot of biases that prevent success," she said.

Debate students in a tournament earlier in the year. The biggest change to the tournament, like most activities this year, was the transition to an online format. “Last year, at the state tournament, it was really nice talking to people from other schools. I actually made a couple close friends that I still keep in contact with. This year, it felt a lot more isolated, although I did get to hang out with the coaches and Maya, Henry, and Jack,” junior Spencer Burris-Brown said.
