He believes the community doesn't know how much time security spends protecting people's cars. "We're noticing people parked in a no parking zone and [that] they're going to get towed. We're noticing that on a snow emergency day, they parked on the wrong side of the road, and we're sending emails and letting people know," Glewwe said.

AGE GROUP COMPETITION. Gardner, Broderius, Sanders and their age group are all ready for the age group vs. age group ultimate frisbee game. Every year Herzl has this big ultimate frisbee game where two different age groups face off in one game in front of both age groups. “Each and every year, you choose a theme for your jerseys.” Gardner said. “So here we were Batman and you can see someone in the lower corner dressed up as Batman.”

TEAMBUILDING. Gardner and her cabin are all clinging to each other trying to win the challenge. "The cabin was tasked with fitting everyone onto this tiny bench. Later we did the entire [age group] fitting on a picnic table which was really difficult because it was 75 people on one picnic table, and part of it did end up breaking.” Gardner said

SHABBAT. Gardner and her cabinmates are all dressed up and ready to go to Shabbat. At Herzl, they celebrate Shabbat every Friday with a fancier and better dinner.

A SUNSET TO REMEMBER. The sun is setting beautifully over the local lake next to the camp. Campers often spend a lot of time on this dock during the summer but not only for the sunset. “We have this, inflatable kind of obstacle course, which is called gary land, because he is the main caretaker of the land” Gardner said.

FROM WOODCUTTERS TO PLANKS. Campers of Herzl pose for the picture after participating in community service. Evie Gardner is in the middle, and Eli Sanders and Isaac Broderius are in the upper right corner; they were chopping wood for a project to build homes for people who are disabled or are having financial problems.
