“Spring” break opens up opportunities for snow activities

Skiing at Hyland Hills
Hyland Hills, located in Bloomington, is a ski hill that is open all week from the early hours of the morning until 9 at night. With 14 trails to choose from, Hyland offers opportunities for beginners as well as the more experienced skiers. A day pass at Hyland Hills will set you back $35.
Sledding at Beard’s Plaisance
If you are looking for a fun activity that all members of the family can enjoy, sledding is the perfect snowy pastime. Beard’s Plaisance has a large hill that is perfect for sledding when the snow has fallen. This location will be easy on the wallet because there is no charge for using the sledding hill.
