Music does and always has played a crucial in theater as musicals like “Les Miserables,” “Chicago,” and “Hamilton” all becoming hits on Broadway. These songs have attracted people from all over, and have even transcended into popular culture.

Junior Gavin Kimmel said, “They’re just songs that you can jam out to in the car. It’s super fun.”

Kimmel, who shared a playlist of his favorite Broadway hits, has been a fan of musicals for a long time now. “My favorite song on the playlist is definitely ‘I’m Breaking Down’,” he said. “It’s in the musical Falsettos.”
