Junior forward Milo Waltenbaugh said, “The playlist is the most hype but graceful and beautiful playist of all-time and sets fear into our opponents every time we step onto the field.”

Last season, the boys’ varsity soccer playlist featured 1970’s throwbacks like “September” by Earth, Wind, and Fire and “Stayin’ Alive” by the Bee Gees. This season, however, the team’s playlist has returned to the modern choices, centering around rap songs, from artists like Drake and dub-step from DJs like Zedd.

Senior goalie Duncan Fleming was tasked with assembling the playlist this season. “I think the playlist needs lots of variety because not everyone on the team likes the same music,” he said. “I’m really proud of how it turned out.”

The Spartans will showcase their new playlist at 3 p.m. on Saturday when they take on Trinity at Lang Field.

A full version of the playlist is available to stream on Spotify.
