SPA Thinks: How active should you be on social media?

Students at St. Paul Academy and Summit School are starting to voice their opinions in spite of recent news that what they look at and search on the internet could become public information. This is due to the House of Representative’s new bill passed which allows internet providers to give out information without the users consent. Meaning that advertisers will be able to view browser history just by paying a fee. There are already many concerns around social media, like Instagram and Twitter, where once something is put up, it really never leaves the internet. This can be an easy gateway to losing personal information, complete strangers viewing one’s profiles, and even cyber bullying. There are some students who don’t fell affected, or students who never used social media seriously in the first place. Here what they have to say.
