Solid boys soccer season concludes with loss against Como Park
The fifth ranked team in their section, the boy’s soccer team had high hopes that they could make it out of a very difficult section. After having a dominant win against Cristo Rey Jesuit, the team shifted to a game against Como Park High School. Playing fourth ranked Como Park, the Spartans had not faced the Cougars this season. Fighting until the very end, the Spartans were unsuccessful in their efforts, they lost one to zero. Still, the team with 12 seniors this year came back from a very tough season last year to earn big wins against Apple Valley and Minnehaha Academy. “I am proud of the seniors and how hard we all worked as a program to get where we are.” junior Quinn Smith said.
