The SMB Wolfpack celebrates their 16-14 win over Binilde.

SMB Wolfpack cinched the section final win, earning themselves a spot at the state tournament. The game was at home against Benilde St. Margaret. The team found themselves down in the first quarter after BSM scored a touchdown, which they quickly matched, tying the score. In the second quarter, the Wolfpack completed several long passes to pull in the lead. A long pass to Craig McDonald, from quarterback Jalen Suggs, brought the Wolfpack into Benilde territory before scoring the next play on a pass to Devin Casadecalvo. Tight defense from the Wolfpack got them a safety, two points and control of the ball, which helped SMB take control of the game. After neither team could get anything going in the third quarter, BSM scored a touchdown in the fourth. Unfortunately for them, the two points from the safety left the Wolfpack ahead. Both fans and players were extremely excited for the win. It is the first time in SMB wolfpack history that the team had won sections and advanced to state. The team will play at 7:00 at the St. Cloud State University Campus. With a win, they would play at the US Bank stadium in the semifinal.
