SMB Wolfpack takes down Providence in injury-filled game
On Friday Nov 6 The SMB Wolfpack played Providence Academy. The Wolfpack led for the whole game, but in the fourth quarter The Providence Lions made a small comeback making the final score of the game 23-7. In the second quarter of the game, #16 Delone Lohnes was taken in a stretcher off the field for a serious injury. Lohnes does play for the Wolfpack, but does not attend SPA. “We put our best effort into the game. Even though it led to a few injuries, I’m proud of how we played”, #13, Ruben Rubio-Ramirez said, a sophomore from Minnehaha. The Wolfpack play their next game Thursday, Nov 12 at 7:00. They will be playing Richfield at Richfield High School.
Tonight a 7:00 pm the SMB Wolfpack football team plays Providence Academy. The game will be held at The Blake School.
