“Violence cannot end violence. Successful conflict resolution requires reconciliation and negotiation to properly address the grievances of people who turn to violence,” senior Liam McVea said during his speech on Feb. 27.
“We have never been a country defined exclusively by our religion. Rather, the ideas that bind us together are common beliefs in the voice of the individual, the rule of democracy and respect for personal choice, including faith,” senior Kyle Ziemer said during his speech on Feb. 27.
“I hate my birthday and there are plenty of reasons to justify this disdain,” senior Ewan Lang said during his speech on Feb. 27.
