“I want to thank my mom for teaching me that I am just as valuable as everyone else, and my dad for helping me to believe it,” senior Clare Tipler said during her speech on Feb. 14.
“Technology is always abandoning that which is known for that which is unknown,” senior Bailey Troth said during his speech.
“Our understanding may have changed— I now understand that Mom is, in fact, black, Dad is white, and I am still somewhere in between,” senior Kathryn Schmechel said during her speech on Feb. 14.
