Below are the illustrations of lines from the senior speeches given on Friday, Nov 18.
“Let us present our unadorned selves shamelessly,” senior Maya Kachian said during her speech on Nov 18.
“But before my eyes, I saw it. The sun set behind the bridge, giving off a golden glow. It was perhaps the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, not because of its beauty but because it was a symbol: a symbol of what I had feared which was now just water under the bridge,” senior Barbara Bathke said during her speech on Nov 18.
“I never dreamed in a million years that I would have the courage to perform in front of hundreds of people. When I did, I found a confidence that I never knew I had,” senior Ethan Maione said during his speech on Nov 18.
“I realized that my dad wouldn’t have wanted me to give up…he would’ve wanted me to push myself and try even harder,” senior Matt Dahlseide said during his speech on Nov 18.
