Senior Speech Illustrations: Week 1

This year’s senior speakers will have their favorite line illustrated and published here, on RubicOnline.com, weekly. Speakers will be contacted after delivering their speeches. The first senior speakers of the year were Emily Schoonover, Peter Schavee, Austin Leiby, and Colin O’Hern.

People try to influence you at every turn, put labels on you like conservative, geek, hockey boy, but that shouldn’t prevent you from seizing the full potential of your life, that shouldn’t stop you from doing your thing," senior Peter Schavee said during his speech on Friday, Sept. 9.
