Group leaders launched the season of clubs and affinity groups at the Student Groups Fair on Friday in Lilly Courtyard. Clubs will meet for the first time this Thursday.

A brief rain shower threatened to send the event indoors, but with the help of Facilities staff, tables were wiped down and groups rushed to prep tables as X-Period began.

GOOD DEEDS. Juniors Elizabeth Tuttle and Franny Wagner hold up their sign for their club, Cards for Hospitalized Kids. The goal of their club is to make kids in hospitals feel joy and connection when they are going through a hard time through handmade cards.

BLUE OUT. Sophomores Aldegundo Brenneman, Ann Li and Caden Deardurff posed in their dark blue outfits. "This is my dad's shirt," Brenneman said of the shirt, which is from Mexico. Li and Deardurff instead opted for casual clothes near the top of their wardrobes, choosing new accessories rather than clothes. "I got my earrings at American Eagle," said Li, who chose a pair shaped like butterflies. Deardurff described his favorite part of his outfit as his new shoes.
