GO SPARTANS. The entire Spartan tennis team (all members of Varsity, JV, and some middle school athletes) came to support Browne. "Ali had to take a pause in the middle of her match," boys varsity tennis captain Maik Nguyen explained. Taking up most of the three-row-bleachers, the team cheered on Browne's game which determines the match.

After a 3:3 tie against MPA Panthers Oct. 4, the last game of the match was paused due to the early sunset and was scheduled to continue Oct. 6. Best out of three wins, Thursday’s game featured captain Ali Browne’s third and final set against the Panthers which will ultimately determined the team’s match and section placement. After the initial sets from Tuesday’s match ended at 7:5 and 4:6, the third set resumed at a game score of 1:2.

Spartans cheering, parents supporting, and coaches mentoring, after a tough and close match, Browne lost against the Panthers with a third set final score of 2:6. With a 9:6 record, the Spartan Varsity Tennis season ended.
