[PHOTO GALLERY] Technology enhances the Pops Concert experience
Technology proved to be a big part of the 2018 Winter Pops Concert Dec. 7-8 in the Huss Center for the Performing Arts. Curtains on the stage were illuminated by bright lights and changing colors, and many mics were used for solos and to project the sound of the performers as efficiently and effectively as possible. Using a projector was something in which the Pops had not been approached through before. It was used to keep track of intermission time and for quirky videos that the seniors were featured in, abandoning the usual concept of emcees.
