The homecoming dance “glowed” on Saturday.
It started early with members from the Student Activities Committee (SAC) arriving ahead of time to set up. As freshmen entered after the pizza party and other students streamed in closer to 8 p.m., the bundt cakes and assortment of sodas began to disappear.
The highlight of the event was the dance held in Briggs Gymnasium, where a DJ played.
Ending at 10:30, many students gathered their friends and took to the photo booth before heading home.
STARSTRUCK. Senior Lucy Shaffer sticks festive blue and gold stars on the wall leading to the gym. Shaffer was enthused about the hard work that had gone into organizing the dance: "As a senior, I was so happy to see my school community work together to make the dance as fun as possible," said Shaffer.
