Pep Fest unites students with school spirit
Sophomores Maik Nguyen and Baasit Mahmood play a heated match against seniors Zekiah Juliusson and Levi Smetana.
On the fifth day of Homecoming Week, the annual Pep Fest brought students from all grades together for one last cheer. Activities included ping-pong and dodgeball finals, a pirate relay, jousting and the fall sports captain’s challenge, culminating in the Spartan Chant.
Sophomore Anja Seifert said, “I liked when they did the pirate race and the sophomores got destroyed.”
The relays and races were a highlight for many students. Ninth grader Serene Kalugdan said, “[My favorite moment was] towards the end when they did the relay with all the captains.”
