Part of the proceeds from the PAWS bake sale will be going to World Wildlife Fund (WWF).

People for Animal Welfare hosted a bake sale to raise money for World Wildlife Fund on Nov. 9-10.

PAWS is a student club that focuses on bringing recognition to the mistreatment of animals in the SPA community. PAWS has been determined to bring more awareness to the SPA community.

“Nov. 7 was national hug a bear day, and we wanted to do a bake sale with the theme of bears. We decided the best way to reflect this was to make all the baked goods with honey, ” PAWS club leader Lark Smith said.

Along with the money going to WWF, $39 will be going to “Adopt an Animal” Sierra Club.
