The Upper School Council’s (USC) annual blood drive scheduled for today, Oct. 31 was canceled earlier this week. The American Red Cross terminated the event due to concerns about potential exposure to pertussis (whooping cough), a highly contagious bacterial infection within the Upper School. While administration has not formally announced the cancellation to the entire school, participants who had signed up were notified via email. During this school year, USC plans to host another blood drive in February.
