On Tuesday, USC partnered with the Red Cross to provide students with the opportunity to give back and impact the lives of others. Students aged 17 and older or 16 with parental consent were able to donate blood to those in need. 36 students and faculty donated and USC representatives volunteered throughout the entire school day in the small gym.

Senior Aidan Williams, who donated blood, said, “I guess I just [wanted to help] those in need.”
9th grader Caleb Colten help by volunteering, he ran the table donors rest at after donating. “After they donate blood, I look over to make sure that they’re fine and after 15 minutes they can leave so that they don’t feel light headed afterwards ” Colten said.
USC hosts a blood drive annually and looks forward to planning the next one.
