At school, I’m involved in the Intercultural Club and Latinos Unidos, and I participate in cross-country running, nordic skiing, and track. Allan Wang [He/Him] is looking forward to being back at school after a jam-packed summer full of traveling. On break, he spent time exploring ancient and modern basilicas, the mesmerizing stained glass windows and once-vibrant frescos taking their place as one of the most beautiful things he had seen. Peter Lipinsky (he/him) hiked up the Machu Picchu at dusk. Though his family initially embarked on the journey together, halfway up the mountain Lipinsky found that he was the only one willing to finish the hike. When he reached the top, he looked around but was could only see white. He couldn’t even see his neon yellow shoe laces.
