[MINI REVIEW] Nina’s Coffee Café: the perfect study spot for finals season
Nina’s Coffee Café is a gem hidden in Cathedral Hill’s Blair Arcade. With an extensive menu including a variety of regular and gluten-free pastries, teas, gourmet coffee, breakfast burritos, and even kombucha, there is something for everyone.
Though the morning rush hits hard and creates a line looping around the café, the coffee is truly worth the wait. In addition to standard drinks like lattes and cappuccinos, Nina’s offers a selection of specialty drinks like the Madam Nina, a latte with honey, oat milk, and cinnamon, or the F. Scott, cold brew with caramel and cream, which are must-haves.
In addition to the delicious drinks, nothing compares to the atmosphere and ambiance. The combination of a variety of comfy couches and chairs, fairy lights, studying music, and local art displays hanging on the brick walls creates a relaxing and welcoming space for working on assignments or taking a study break with a friend. Making the experience even better is the personable staff of baristas. Every person behind the counter greets customers with a genuine smile and strives to build a relationship with the regulars, creating an atmosphere people want to return to.
Finding a good place to get caffeinated and camp out for a few hours of uninterrupted studying is great for motivation and finding a routine for schoolwork with finals season coming up, and Nina’s is the perfect place to turn to.
