[ARTS OPINION] Choose Apple Music over Spotify
Apple Music is better than Spotify at the basic (not premium) level. Spotify has been favored in the Apple Music vs. Spotify debate, but when it comes to not paying for premium: Apple Music takes the cake.
When not paid for, Spotify does not let the set play the song searched for; instead, it automatically goes into a playlist that includes the chosen song, but it may be a long time before it plays. On the other hand, a listener can play any song in the Apple Music online library. Simply search and play. They also let you rewind and skip forward to the described time in the song, whereas Spotify does not.
Spotify’s shuffle has been proven to not play on a random cycle like Apple Music has, and to fix the algorithm it must be manually changed. Apple Music also has a feature that saves latest listens, so it’s easy to go back and listen to a song again.
When it comes to free alternatives, Apple music is the best option. It provides a no-cost, fully immersive experience that everyone needs to try.
