[ILLUSTRATED INTERVIEW] What do students daydream about in class?
April 26, 2019
Daydreaming is one of the most universal phenomenons. Whether during a conversation or in class, many people go from being fully engaged to off in a completely different world in a matter of seconds. Psychologists have researched why people daydream for a long time, and many common theories are that sometimes when external stimulus reaches a high point, we tend to turn off our brains and become “absent-minded,” this resulting in our daydreams. For many students, they find that the majority of their daydreams come during the daytime – especially during class when teachers are talking or students are engaging in high stimuli activity. However, while daydreaming is a very common experience, most people do not daydream about the same thing.
