Girls Varsity Volleyball beats Providence Academy in IMAC championship
The Girls Varsity Volleyball team beat the Providence Lions in three sets on Oct. 17 in an exciting senior night. Along with beating Providence, SPA took home the 2017 Independent Metro Athletic Conference (IMAC) championship. A recording of the game can be found here.
The team celebrated three seniors volleyball careers before the game with flowers and thoughtful notes to each player. Co-captains Ashley Jallen and Sophia Rose celebrated four years with the team, and senior Emma Truman celebrated her three years on Girls Varsity Volleyball.
Girls Varsity Volleyball ended their regular season games with a record of 16-6. They will play their first section game Oct. 25 with opponents and location to be determined.
