Freshmen enjoy freedom with new free periods

Freshman Nolan Gifford gets work done in the Huss Center for the Performing Arts. "I like having free periods because it's more freedom and I get work done," he said.
Freshmen are appreciating the opportunity to have their May study halls free. These new free periods are letting freshmen get a glimpse of the coming years when all of their free periods will be un-proctored. These new free periods come with responsibility, though. Students learn how to use their time wisely and still get work done. But for this May, students appreciate the new freedom that has been given to them.
