First three Senior Speeches take the stage

Hotvedt's speech focused on her fear of public speaking and several memories of Middle School. "Helen promised me that everyone would forget about my epic failure by the following day, but, for the record, sixyears later Michael and Lukas still make fun of me for my botched Eleanor Roosevelt speech. From this tragic event I learned two things: (i) middle school boys are mean, and (ii) in terms of public speaking, I was doomed," Hotvedt said.
The Huss Center for Performing Arts was filled with students ready to hear the first three speeches from the class of 2016. The speakers included senior Emilee Skadron, Liza Bukingolts, and Rachel Hotvedt.
