Dress up days bring a colorful start to Homecoming
Day one of Homecoming was class color day in which ninth-graders dressed in relish green, sophomores dressed in mustard yellow, juniors in ketchup red, and seniors dressed in blue.
“It was a fun way to start the week and it set the tone for the rest of Homecoming,” junior Olivia Lagos said.
Adding to class color day, students also attended the annual kick-off assembly.
To commence homecoming week, the kick-off assembly gets students excited for the rest of the week. SAC co-presidents and seniors Henry Cheney and Henry Vlietstra tell the students what events are to come and lead the crowd in the Spartan Beat.
