The Minnehaha waterfall park area is a beautiful and tranquil area where anyone can visit. The excellent hiking trails, grassy picnic areas, and gorgeous waterfall are a couple of many reasons why the park is such an attraction. Whether you have an hour of free time or a whole day to spare, the area will not disappoint.
After another record-breaking Minnesota winter, the extreme cold and polar vortex froze the Minnehaha water mid-air. The icicles reflect the color of the sky, and on this particular day, the sky shines bright blue, giving the icicles the effect of looking extremely white with a shade of aquamarine.
