Nominated for eight Billboard awards, and winning five, including Top Artist of 2016, Top Billboard 200 Album and Top Female Artist, originally from Tottenham, England, Adele has been growing popular worldwide since she released her first album, 19 in 2008. Since then she has been performing and touring, though her performances in the United States are rare. This year, Adele announced her tour was expanded to North America, including the U.S., Mexico and Canada. Adele fans and concertgoers alike are ecstatic to see her perform her new album, 25, and the hit single, “Hello”.

Upper School History teacher Ben Bollinger Danielson will be taking his children to the opening night on July 5.

“I have a strong respect for the singer/songwriters in the world. I hear she’s incredible live.” Bollinger Danielson said. “I’ve seen a lot of great male artists at the X, so I want to see a great, top notch, female artist.”

She started her tour in February, beginning in Los Angeles. Her next stop? St. Paul, MN at the Xcel Energy Center on July 5 and 6. Tickets are sold out for both performances. In fact, tickets are sold out for all 57 of her shows during this tour which reflects her popularity both worldwide and in North America.
