United Lacrosse takes on Breck in season opener
In their season opener on Apr. 14, the St. Paul Academy and Visitation United girls lacrosse team took on the Breck School Mustangs. Despite hard efforts from many members of the team, United lost the match 9-21.
“Since it was our first game, it showed us what our strengths and weaknesses are so we can work on them during practice to improve as a team,” sophomore defender Ella Matticks said.
United had their home opener on Apr. 21 against the Minneapolis Warriors, and won 20-9.
